Better than I hoped
When I purchased my lamp there were no reviews yet so I just went by description. I'm so glad I took a chance. It's so classy looking. I have a kitten who loves to play with the little chains to turn on the lights(one or two)and because the lamp base is fairly heavy she can't knock it over. What a relief. Looking at the lamp from across the room the base appears to be more of a burnished gold rather than the silver in the add. This is a great plus fo me as I'm not a great fan of silver. I also love the white glass globe. It puts out a beautiful glow. My lamp is in my tv room. I'm homebound due to disability and to be able to order a lamp of this quality by mail was just great.
